About this event
Join us for Teen Book Club on Tuesday, November 17 at 6 PM at Chozen Yogurt. Students in grades 9-12 are invited to gather for conversation, connection, and great reads in a relaxed setting outside the Library. Teen Book Club is a monthly meet-up where teens can share their thoughts, ask questions, and explore books together in a welcoming, low-pressure environment. Whether you are an avid reader or just curious to try something new, this is a great chance to talk about stories that spark reflection and real-life connections. This month we'll be reading "Caraval" by Stephanie Garber. Scarlett has long dreamed of getting to see the annual performance of Caraval, a performance where the audience participates in the show. When her father arranges a marriage for her, she thinks that dream is killed. But as fate would have it, that's the year her invitation arrives, alongside one for her sister Tella. As soon as the sisters reach the performance, they learn their invitations weren't by chance; this year's performance is about Tella. And Caraval needs her. Tella is kidnapped by the mysterious mastermind behind the performance. Whoever finds Tella first is the winner, and Scarlett only has five days to find her. Be sure to pick up your free copy of the book from the Teen Zone beforehand. Your first drink is on us, courtesy of the Friends of the Natrona County Library, while you chat with fellow readers.
