- ➤ The Wyoming Interagency Working Group on Childcare has opened applications for the 2026 Childcare Start-Up Grant (offering up to $20,000 to help providers in rural areas) with submissions due March 1. - ➤ The Nicolaysen Art Museum was re-accredited by the American Alliance of Museums after a three-year process that rebuilt its staff and exhibits, and it is the only Wyoming contemporary art museum renewed this year. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ On Monday, Casper finished a multi-year road project with a ribbon-cutting at the (corner of Midwest Avenue and Poplar Street). The project, begun in 2018, added sidewalks, lighting, underground utilities, and water line fixes to revitalize the area. Oil City News
- ➤ Wyoming's new Childcare Start-Up Grant cycle offers awards up to $20,000 to help local childcare providers start or expand services. Applications are accepted until March 1 after a pilot program awarded over $228,000 to 24 providers statewide. 104.7 KISS FM
