  • After Venezuela’s military raid and Maduro’s capture, U.S. plans to invest in Venezuelan oil may cut prices that Wyoming producers rely on.   • Colorado Parks and Wildlife must deliver a detailed report on gray wolf management by mid-January under federal review — Wyoming officials note that their wolf population remains stable amid careful state management and are monitoring any policy shift that might impact local conservation efforts.  K2 Radio
  • The annual Mule Deer Foundation banquet will be held on January 31 at The Hangar in Bar Nunn to raise funds for mule deer conservation — tickets are available in various packages to support wildlife habitat restoration and access.   Jack FM
  • A new climate report found Casper recorded 47.1°F in 2025, marking its 10th warmest year on record with temperatures 1.6°F above average, while precipitation reached 12.05 inches with the wettest months in September & October.  Wyoming News Now

  • Governor Mark Gordon announced today the launch of the Frontier Stable Token, the first fiat-backed token issued by a public entity, which is now available on Kraken and supports blockchains (Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, among others).
