Casper’s YMCA has closed its lap, family, and hot tub pools after broken glass was found from a dropped device.

Gas prices across Wyoming have dropped with the average now at $2.42 per gallon, and on Monday the lowest price recorded was $1.94.
Prices are 17.6 cents lower than last month & 43.6 cents down from this time last year, offering drivers local relief.

Casper Police launched the 2026 Area Initiative Project to boost neighborhood safety by assigning a lieutenant or sergeants to each of six areas.
Public meetings will be held later this month at the Ford Wyoming Center (6 to 7 p.m.) so residents can share their concerns.

The Casper-Natrona County Health Department inspects eateries and food vendors unannounced - during Jan.
2-8 its team visited several local establishments to address safety issues by offering guidance so that any violations are corrected quickly or within 10 days.
