ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Casper Fire-EMS responded at 1:12 p.m. today to a residential structure fire on the 900 block of McKinley St, quickly extinguishing flames after detecting smoke from broken windows (two cats self-rescued) with no injuries reported. Wyoming News Now

- ➤ Today, the Wyoming Business Council approved $843,000 in loans to help keep Casper’s Cowboy Drifters and Sheridan’s Wendtland Machine Works thriving, with $500,000 for a local succession plan and $343,000 for high-tech growth (the Council warned that pending legislative cuts could risk local jobs and economic momentum). - ➤ Ford Wyoming Center in Casper will host a hip-hop concert on Monday, Apr. 6 at 7:00 p.m. with Yelawolf, Prof and That Mexican OT performing. Ticket prices start at $77.80 and doors open at 6:00 p.m. K2 Radio

- ➤ Casper College is hosting its Community Learning Series on Jan. 26 at 6 p.m. in Room 225 of the Robert and Ruth Dove Conference Center, where local experts will discuss how tax dollars support tourism + infrastructure + community projects. Jack FM

- ➤ The Wyoming Cowboys, without three key players, lost 81 to 65 to Boise State Tuesday evening in a game where an early surge helped the Broncos take the lead. Leland Walker scored 30 points (as Wyoming shot 45 percent) and the team moved to an 11 to 8 overall record. Oil City News
- ➤ Race director Marlene Short announced that the Casper Marathon will take place on June 7 in Natrona County with the race starting at the Wyo Sports Ranch and ending at Crossroads Park.
