- ➤ The Olivia Caldwell Foundation is hosting its ninth annual Butterfly Ball on Saturday, Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. at the Ford Wyoming Center. - ➤ The 28th Annual Bowl for Jason’s Friends will be held Saturday, Feb. 28 at El Mark-O Lanes in Casper to raise funds for over 180 Wyoming families facing childhood cancer (additional events are planned for March 7 in Gillette and Cheyenne). Oil City News

- ➤ Casper community mourns veteran Randy Butler, who died Jan. 26 after spending over two months in hospital from injuries sustained in a head-on collision on CY Avenue in November that also claimed his daughter (Mandy). Jack FM
