- ➤ The Olivia Caldwell Foundation is hosting its ninth annual Butterfly Ball on Saturday, Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. at the Ford Wyoming Center. - ➤ The 28th Annual Bowl for Jason’s Friends will be held Saturday, Feb. 28 at El Mark-O Lanes in Casper to raise funds for over 180 Wyoming families facing childhood cancer (additional events are planned for March 7 in Gillette and Cheyenne). Oil City News

- ➤ Casper community mourns veteran Randy Butler, who died Jan. 26 after spending over two months in hospital from injuries sustained in a head-on collision on CY Avenue in November that also claimed his daughter (Mandy). Jack FM

- ➤ The Nicolaysen Art Museum will host NIC Fest from June 4 to 7 with a 20th anniversary block party and art walk on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. in downtown Casper — the festival will feature art booths, live music, and family-friendly activities. K2 Radio
- ➤ Today, the new Black Powder Blues Band (in their first show of 2026) will perform at Oil City Beer Company at 7 p.m., playing blues tunes from Jimi Hendrix and ZZ Top for a family-friendly night out. K2 Radio

- ➤ Casper trash service will run its regular weekly pickup this February but only for trash that fits inside sealed city bins, so residents must hold oversized items until extra collection resumes in March - city staff say the pause allows for team training and equipment maintenance. Jack FM
