- ➤ The Casper Area Chamber of Commerce announced its 2026 Board of Directors with new members Dylan Herr, Miranda Berdahl and Tammi Chappell, and returning Nikki Strickland, effective (Jan. 1). The board will steer business growth, workforce development and community improvements. Oil City News

- ➤ Casper-based Trinkle Brass Works received an NEA grant to support a multi-city tour with its nine-member Portable Masterpieces. The concerts will be held June 23-27 at venues including Worland (Washakie Museum), Dubois (The Headwaters), Lander (Covenant Presbyterian Church), Sheridan (St. Peters Episcopal Church) and Casper (Casper College). - ➤ Kelly Walsh High School students Arjit Bhavsar and Ben Hutchinson earned second and third place in the statewide Congressional App Challenge by designing apps for teen mental health and graph plotting in Casper. Their teacher, Becky Byer (who supports innovative student coding), said the competition showcased their growing technical skills. Oil City News

- ➤ The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has released a documentary titled Carrying Capacity: The Hunt for Resilience to examine how wildlife managers, scientists & hunters work to balance bighorn sheep populations amid disease risks and hunting controls. - ➤ The Wyoming Stock Growers Land Trust announced five new board members with backgrounds in ranching, conservation, law and finance to guide stewardship of working lands — Board Chair Marissa Taylor said the appointments will strengthen partnerships and support local ranching families. Jack FM
