- ➤ Casper launched a new events calendar for February that highlights Restaurant Week, skating sessions and live music shows. The calendar lists events from Feb. 7 to Feb. 28 at local venues (including restaurants and parks) that let residents enjoy a vibrant food and arts scene. K2 Radio
- ➤ The Casper Elks Lodge #1353 will host an All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast on February 8 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. to help technicians who lost essential tools when a fire destroyed Farley’s Import Car Care on East Yellowstone Highway on January 23. K2 Radio
- ➤ On Tuesday, residents attended TinyTots StoryTime at 10 a.m. at the Main Library, read about West history at a Book Club meeting at 6 p.m., joined a City Council meeting at 6 p.m., and participated in Geeks Who Drink trivia at 7 p.m. while Stage III’s play runs until Feb.8. Oil City News

- ➤ Federal wildlife officials have delayed finalizing grizzly bear protections until Dec. 18, leaving conservationists and ranchers in Wyoming worried about the future. Officials may propose changes to the rules (with public comments expected by spring) as they review the science. The Cowboy

- ➤ WYDOT crews are fixing potholes, repairing fence posts & replacing fallen signs on highways today as mild weather lets them shift from heavy snow removal. They are also keeping trucks maintained for when conditions turn severe. K2 Radio
- ➤ Jeff Davis (formerly with Colorado Parks and Wildlife) assumed the role of Deputy Director at Wyoming Game and Fish on Feb. 2. He will focus on external affairs and policy alongside Director Angi Bruce as the department addresses ongoing wildlife challenges. Jack FM
