- ➤ Casper College will host the Kinser Jazz Festival from Feb. 9–11 with headliner Säje performing at Natrona County High School Auditorium on Tuesday, Feb. 10 from 7–9 p.m. Jazz ensembles from middle school, high school and college will perform before adjudicators from Nebraska, Colorado State and Northern Colorado. - ➤ Hell’s Half Acre, the alien-like landscape near Casper where Starship Troopers was filmed, will officially reopen in May with a new observation deck and picnic tables — updated interpretive signage will share its million-year story. Cowboy State Daily
- ➤ Casper offered a busy weekend with Saturday’s art show, laser cutting workshop, reverse raffle + auction, and a craft fair running through today as Stage III Community Theater’s play concluded.
