  • Casper’s Lexie Ailport donated the Camaro she won at an Impact Auction held Saturday at the Ford Wyoming Center to support the Boys & Girls Club. Nearly 800 community members joined a reverse raffle that raised funds for Club programs and a new greenhouse project.  K2 Radio

  • Casper native Zach Scott will host a fundraising send-off party featuring live music by Aquile, Chad Lore, and the Zack Scott Band on Saturday, Feb. 28 at Oil City Beer Company — proceeds will fund his upcoming trip to Nashville.  Jack FM

EDUCATION NEWS

  • The Natrona County School District Board of Trustees reviewed a detailed report on its Dual Language Immersion program that shows students performing better on standardized tests. The findings may help guide future adjustments to teaching methods.  Casper Star-Tribune

  • Due to an ongoing snow drought, the Wyoming State Engineer’s Office issued a priority administration order that will restrict junior water rights along the North Platte River system from Guernsey to Pathfinder Reservoirs through April; towns including Casper + nearby communities have a grace period to secure backup water supplies.  Jack FM
