- ➤ The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has scheduled a 10-day flushing flow on the North Platte River beginning Thursday, Mar. 5 to improve trout spawning and boost invertebrate production. - ➤ Legislators' budget draft spares the University of Wyoming from a $40 million cut and limits the Wyoming Business Council to one year of funding while readjusting state allocations for public TV + employee raises. - ➤ WYDOT announced that donors raised $33,784 through the auction of 12 search and rescue license plates, funding volunteer rescue teams across Wyoming. Plate 307 garnered $5,700 in bids & fee payments will continue to support ongoing rescue operations. Oil City News
