- ➤ The Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming have welcomed DC Martinez as their new Athletic Director. He brings over 20 years of sports leadership experience and plans to boost youth programs and strengthen community ties—he aims to support at-risk youth with focused programs. The Cowboy

- ➤ A 31-year-old Casper man was sentenced to 18 to 48 months in prison on Friday for entering a Mills home and attacking a man in bed on February 28th—leaving his face bruised, bloodied, and his dentures broken. The Cowboy
- ➤ A 31-year-old Casper man, Nicklas Andrew Mathill, was sentenced on Friday after he entered a Mills home last year and attacked a man in bed, breaking his dentures and leaving his face bruised — he maintained his innocence while pleading guilty — and he received an 18- to 48-month prison term with credit for 94 days served. - ➤ Anglers must be cautious as a 10-day flushing flow operation began on March 17 and continues until March 26 to boost rainbow trout spawning — the Bureau of Reclamation will release water from Gray Reef Reservoir that surges from 500 cfs to 4,000 cfs each morning. K2 Radio

- ➤ The City of Casper approved a $184,501.30 contract with Great Western Recreation to replace the damaged playground equipment at Sage Park after a fire in August 2024 destroyed much of it—new features will include slides, swing sets and monkey bars along with a welcome sign, turf and landscaping. - ➤ Wyoming state leaders turned in their yearly money forms under the state ethics law to show they are not using their office for private gain. The forms show that some officials have state deals such as Gov. Mark Gordon with grazing leases and Sen. Cale Case with an Inn at Lander, while Sen. Mike Gierau’s form was flagged as incomplete because he used a shortcut (he said he did so truthfully after breaking his arm). Oil City News
