GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Wyoming is investing nearly $21M to expand its Casper fish hatchery and reduce invasive species risk as the Game and Fish Commission approved the project to boost annual production to over 1.4 million fish. Construction will begin in September 2026 and finish by Oct. 2027 — walleye production is set for April. K2 Radio
- ➤ Senator Lummis introduced the Local Data for Better Conservation Act yesterday + the bill would require federal officials to consider state wildlife data in endangered species decisions, aiming to improve collaboration between state and federal agencies. K2 Radio
