- ➤ The Food Bank of Wyoming is seeking community leaders to join its new Advisory Council to help fight food insecurity across all counties+ Selected members will join three virtual meetings and one in-person gathering at the Casper distribution center, and interested applicants must apply by March 31st. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Conrad Troy Tillman, 38, was sentenced to 29 years in federal prison on March 21 by U.S. District Court Judge Kelly H. Rankin—he had pleaded guilty to second-degree murder after fatally shooting his wife during an argument on Highway 287 in the Wind River Indian Reservation. Oil City News
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Gas prices in Natrona County climbed for the second straight week — the national average rose 6.3 cents to $3.08 per gallon while the local rate increased 17 cents to $2.97 on Monday, moving the county out of Wyoming’s three cheapest averages. Oil City News

- ➤ Author Dan Fetsco will speak on April 9 from noon to 1 p.m. at the University of Wyoming in Casper—Room 322 at 125 College Drive—about his forthcoming book, Cutting Life Short: A Second Look at Life Sentences in Wyoming, which shows how life sentences in Wyoming have grown and offers ideas for reform.
