- ➤ Visit Casper is inviting local businesses to join America's 250th anniversary celebration this summer by submitting events and festive specials. - ➤ Firefighters contained the Sandpiper Fire that burned 6,287 acres near Sandpiper and Cole Creek roads last Friday — strong winds forced evacuations in South Park and the fire’s origin remains under investigation. Oil City News

- ➤ Casper-based Oftedal Construction Inc. won a $12.8M bid to upgrade a half-mile stretch at Poplar Street and West Collins Drive, replacing pavement, water and sewer lines, sidewalks, lighting, and traffic signals; the work is set to finish by Sept. 30, 2028. Oil City News

- ➤ Casper College’s annual KEY Camp registration closes Friday, March 27.
