- ➤ The Here To Help Foundation held its Thankful Thursday auction on March 27th at Wyoming Downs at the Beacon Club to raise money for Casper charities — the auction featured unique items including a 14‑foot boat and a 50cc motorcycle and began at 5‑p.m. 104.7 KISS FM
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Residents and visitors are advised to take caution as spring brings out black and grizzly bears; Wyoming Game and Fish has issued guidelines to use the Bear Wise Wyoming program—store food securely, travel in groups, and carry bear spray—and to quickly notify the agency if encounters occur. The advisory aims to help prevent conflicts as bears emerge from their winter dens. Oil City News

- ➤ Wyoming Attorney General Bridget Hill announced today that residents who bought generic drugs from Apotex or Heritage between 2010 and 2018 may qualify for compensation from a $39.1M settlement over inflated prices. The settlement will be filed in U.S. District Court in Hartford as part of a multistate effort to address price-fixing allegations — eligible residents are encouraged to check their qualifications. - ➤ A March 18 ruling by the U.S. 10th Circuit Court of Appeals guaranteed access to 3 million acres of public land in Wyoming + five other states, and access advocates celebrated the decision while urging caution in corner crossing to prevent trespassing and conflicts with ranchers. Ranchers expressed concern over unclear boundaries and the possibility of state studies to set conditions on public access in the next legislative session. Wyoming News Now
