- ➤ David Street Station released its summer calendar of events for May through August to guide Casper residents. The calendar lists movie nights, farmers markets, brew fests and a Summer Concert Series by Hilltop Bank that will boost downtown lively evenings. Oil City News
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Casper Police said they issued a warrant on April 1 for teen Evan Jason Kirkendall (19) for aggravated assault after he stabbed another teen five times on March 21, leaving the victim with damage to both lungs and liver (severe injuries) and claiming self-defense. Cowboy State Daily
- ➤ Casper man James Earl Severson (50) was charged with felony aggravated assault after he stabbed a man with a knife with a blade between 3 and 4 inches and struck him with a lead pipe during an argument on March 6 in Bar Nunn; the victim is still under treatment while Severson remains in custody after his court appearance on April 7. - ➤ Wyoming gasoline prices increased 6.4 cents per gallon to $3.15 today, remaining 18.7 cents higher than last month while being 14.2 cents lower than a year ago. Petroleum analyst Patrick DeHaan from GasBuddy said lower oil prices caused by tariffs and recession worries may push gas prices down soon. K2 Radio
- ➤ GasBuddy reported that average gasoline prices in Wyoming increased by 6.4 cents last week to $3.15 per gallon—making them 18.7 cents higher than one month ago and 14.2 cents lower than a year ago.
