- ➤ Lander veteran Jim Stewart discovered his long-lost daughter via DNA testing after his son received an unexpected message, and he suffered a heart attack on March 12 amid high winds. He is now slowly recovering while continuing to lead petroglyph tours and teach at the local college. Cowboy State Daily
BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Styrrups Soda opened on East Second Street in Casper on March 6 and soon saw cars lining up, prompting the city to add a traffic lane to ease congestion. Owners David and Ari Starcevich say the new shop offers creative soda-based drinks + is part of a growing trend. Cowboy State Daily
- ➤ Chugwater butcher Alex Springs converted an old school bus into a meat wagon to deliver local beef directly to small towns. After a test run in Wheatland that tripled his sales goal, he will soon add stops in Chugwater and nearby communities. Cowboy State Daily

- ➤ Casper native Casey Gillum is restoring the Hell’s Half Acre restaurant sign with its original bullet hole and plans to display it on his historic bank property in Ashley, Pennsylvania. He disassembled the 33-foot sign into 6-foot sections for safe transport. Cowboy State Daily
