- ➤ Defense attorneys for former award-winning foster dad Steven Marler asked a Natrona County judge Tuesday to dismiss 11 of 20 child sexual abuse charges due to their repetitive language in state filings — the judge dismissed one charge while Marler still faces additional counts as the trial continues. - ➤ USDA Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins issued an emergency order on April 3 to speed up timber sales on 112.6 million acres of national forest lands, including parts of Wyoming. Local sawmill operator Jim Neiman in Hulett hopes the policy will keep his mill open—he faces tough challenges due to limited accessible timber. Oil City News
