Casper resident Bob Cook, a 96-year-old veteran of World War II and the Korean War, flew on an Honor Flight from Denver on April 10 and visited memorials in Washington, D.C.
He said the trip was very emotional as he was greeted by cheering crowds and saw moving tributes, and he now encourages other Wyoming veterans to join the program.

Natrona County law enforcement agencies released arrest logs for April 11th–April 17th that showed suspects facing charges including DUI, controlled substances, and domestic battery while noting the logs did not cover all arrests and excluded juvenile or sensitive cases.
🌲 Environment
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will soon start grizzly bear capture operations in northwest Wyoming from this spring until early fall to monitor the bears in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem — major access points have warning signs and capture sites are closed to protect the public. Captured bears will be marked, released at the site, and monitored to track their health and support conservation efforts — key data for managing the bear population.
