- ➤ Working Dogs for Conservation trains red-vested dogs to sniff out invasive plants and track endangered animals in Wyoming and other regions—these dogs help find targets like salt cedar and black-footed ferrets while the nonprofit relies on grants and donations. Cowboy State Daily
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The City of Casper has launched its annual Pothole-a-Palooza from April 23 to May 14 to repair potholes caused by winter wear and tear on city streets. Residents can report issues using the Connect Casper app, the city website, or by calling 307-235-8283 and note that repairs apply only to city-owned roads. Oil City News
- ➤ Casper will extend its open container season to run from the end of May to September and will broaden the approved area from the Nicolaysen Art Museum to the intersection of Spruce Street and West Yellowstone Highway — local business owners requested the change. Oil City News
