- ➤ The City of Casper is holding its annual Compost + Wood Chip Sale at the Casper Regional Solid Waste Facility, where local gardeners can pick up quality compost and wood chips from 8:30 to 3:30 pm for nearly two weeks to prepare their gardens for the growing season. The Cowboy

- ➤ Wyoming’s first TV station, KFBC-TV (now KGWN-TV), began broadcasting March 22 in Cheyenne with CBS, NBC, ABC and DuMont programming, and Casper’s KTWO-TV joined the market on March 1, 1957.
