- ➤ On Saturday evening, about 550 people gathered at the Ford Wyoming Center for the 25th annual Kids’ Art A La Carte fundraiser to support the Child Development Center, which serves more than 700 children each day—fundraising that offsets expenses for supplies and therapy. The event featured an auction of 35 student-made art pieces along with several raffle items. Oil City News
- ➤ Banner Wyoming Medical Center's Trauma Department and the Boys (and Girls) Clubs of Central Wyoming hosted the Spring into Safety event which provided local families with bike helmets, first aid kits, and life jackets while offering fun activities and emergency vehicle displays (with support from 25 community partners). The event reminded families that as summer comes, taking safety precautions is essential. Oil City News
- ➤ On International Workers’ Day, about 100 Casper workers and supporters gathered at Healing Park on Conwell Street on Thursday evening despite chilly, uncertain weather—participants chanted and picketed while organizers voiced concerns over changes to unemployment benefits and postal moves. - ➤ Butch’s Bar in Evansville, known for its lively Friday nights and family vibe, celebrated its 20th anniversary under new management by the Schmidts after longtime owner John R Lewis, known as Butch, passed away in 2024.
