Good morning, Casper.

Kai Quiroz from Riverton started a nonprofit called Warrior Waves to give youth from Wind River Reservation a chance to learn surfing in California.

He plans a trip that includes a week at Hume Lake Christian Camp—surf lessons at the beach and a day at Disneyland—while raising funds and setting up a mentoring program for local high schoolers.

Casper police said three people were transported after being injured in two separate shooting calls on Sunday night, with two taken to Banner Wyoming Medical Center from South Missouri and one from South Washington as investigations continue & officers urge the public to avoid these areas.

Patrick Klein, a 63-year-old Casper ministry founder, has spent 40 years smuggling Bibles into closed countries, risking prison and death in dangerous missions abroad.

His nonprofit printed 5.5 million Bibles and now partners on outreach in El Salvador and other areas while building a new ministry center locally — his stories include close calls with Chinese customs and rockets in Afghanistan.

The BLM postponed its public meeting set for May 14 on management plans for the Marton Ranch property southwest of Casper because it needs more time to refine its purpose and materials—no new meeting date has been set.
