  • Hundreds gathered on Wednesday at David Street Station for the 5th Annual National Police Week Block Party, where law enforcement and community members enjoyed food, music & conversation. Organizers noted the event, which began after COVID, marked the largest turnout to date for this celebration.  Oil City News

CULTURE NEWS

  • Musicians from across the state will gather for the Wyoming Spring Ring handbell concert at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 16 in the ballrooms of the Ramkota Hotel and Convention Center. Clinician Brian Childers of Charlotte will lead the ensemble while free will offerings are welcomed.  Oil City News
  • Casper will host the annual Pony Express Re-Ride from June 18 to 21, as riders retrace historic trails near the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center and Fort Caspar Museum. Local sites will hold rider exchanges and educational programs throughout the event.  Oil City News

  • Casper Fire-EMS responded to 9,661 incidents in 2025, including 7,135 EMS calls and 176 fires—up from last year—and Chief Jacob Black presented the report to the Casper City Council on Tuesday, noting the department's rapid response and extensive community safety efforts.  Oil City News
