  • Food Bank of Wyoming has launched summer food programs to help Casper children when school meals are unavailable, offering free weekly hot meals, weekend food bags, and Totes of Hope boxes. EDUCATION NEWS

  • The Wyoming High School Activities Association said changes in state funding may force cuts to high school sports and activities over the coming years as districts face a $3.9 million shortfall.   • The Casper Downtown Development Authority voted unanimously on Thursday, May 14, to appoint Scott Koenekamp, who works at StagePoint FCU and has 20 years’ experience in sales and community service, as its newest board member (appointment subject to Casper City Council approval).  Oil City News

  • Local athletes can join a summer basketball league organized by the Boys and Girls Club in partnership with WYO Sports Ranch. The league begins on June 15 at Casper College's TBird Gym — it will run for seven weeks with playoffs and a championship tournament scheduled afterward.  104.7 KISS FM
