- ➤ A 72-year-old Casper man pleaded guilty via an Alford plea on Friday for aggravated assault and battery with a deadly weapon — he faces six years in prison after a stabbing at his apartment left a man hospitalized with stab wounds to the jaw and abdomen and injured a woman. Oil City News

- ➤ Wyoming Game and Fish officials say anglers can help the fishery by targeting smaller lake trout using the rule that lets harvest of any fish under 28 inches—fishing during early morning or late evening near boat ramps increases the chance to catch more of these fish.
