- ➤ Casper art teacher Kaia Petley has published her resource book Sketched on Amazon—offering doodle drawing notes, project ideas, rubrics and critique worksheets from her 17 years of teaching. The book also guides readers on how to build an artist bio and portfolio. Jack FM
- ➤ Historian James A. Hessler will speak on the 6th Michigan Cavalry and honor the seven soldiers lost during their time at the fort as part of the Fort Caspar Museum Association’s commemorative cemetery project on Saturday, June 14th at 6:00 p.m. at Fort Caspar Museum—tickets are $30 with VIP options at $100, which include a guided tour beginning at 5:00 p.m. Jack FM

Petley, who has 17 years of teaching experience in Kansas, Colorado, and South Dakota, teaches at Pathways Innovation Center (she also co-owns Leo’s Beverly Street Auto Repair with her husband Brett) and created the book from notes gathered during her career. 104.7 KISS FM

- ➤ Ranch owner Fred Eshelman is seeking a review from the U.S. Supreme Court after his case over hunters corner crossing his Elk Mountain Ranch was ruled against him in the 10th Circuit. His lawyers asked for a 30-day extension to file the petition + they believe the case could change how land rules work for many acres in the West. Oil City News
- ➤ Wyoming Military Department is asking artists to design a life size bronze statue to honor modern Soldiers at the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery in Evansville, a tribute to over 5,300 veterans. All designs must be submitted by June 20, 2025 — the project will provide a lasting place of remembrance for families and visitors. 104.7 KISS FM
- ➤ The Wyoming Military Department is asking for an artist to create a large bronze statue of a modern Soldier to honor service at the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery—a 115-acre site that overlooks Casper Mountain and the North Platte River.
