  • The Fort Caspar Museum in Casper will dedicate six headstones to cavalry soldiers from 1865 and 1866 at a ceremony set for 9 a.m. Saturday, June 14, where Civil War historian James A. Hessler, project lead Johanna Wickman and reenactors will present military honors + the free event is open to the public.  Oil City News

  • A Wyoming man died and another was injured when a Chevrolet Blazer went off course on Yellowstone Cole Creek Road on June 1st at noon after the driver missed a left turn— the car rolled multiple times before coming to rest on its roof.  Jack FM

CULTURE NEWS

  • The Nicolaysen Art Museum will host NIC Fest in downtown Casper from June 6—8, where over 10,000 visitors will enjoy live music, art, food and community activities. The museum is holding an informational meeting today at 6 p.m. for volunteers to help run the event.  Oil City News
  • The Wyoming Symphony Orchestra announced Jerry Hou as its new music director, replacing Christopher Dragon after its 75th concert season. He will start his role in the 2025-26 season and will lead the season kickoff on July 24 from 6 to 9 p.m. at The M.  Oil City News
