  • Paradise Valley in Casper will host its 21st annual yard sale on Saturday, June 28 when more than 100 homes open their doors to sell items and offer bargains. Shoppers are advised to plan their route early — the event promises many treasure finds.  104.7 KISS FM
  • Tomorrow, Paradise Valley will host its 21st annual yard sale where over 100 homes offer bargains on home goods and clothing — locals are encouraged to plan their route to find the best deals.  K2 Radio
  • Mason and Landon—Torch Club leaders at the Boys & Girls Club—were honored for their strong service and leadership in planning meetings, organizing events, and volunteering in the community. They earned top awards, including the Flaming Torch Award, as they build on the Club’s legacy started in Casper in 2009.  Oil City News
  • Ford Wyoming Center admitted it was wrong for not including restrooms at the free Fireworks Festival and will now add a portable restroom + encouraged guests to support nearby eateries for other needs.   • Kelly Wessels of the Community Action Partnership told Casper City Council Tuesday that homelessness in Natrona County increased by 11% year over year and local counts likely understate the problem due to cold weather and limited shelter hours.   • The National Historic Trails Interpretive Center in Casper announced its free July summer series with events scheduled from July 4 through 26—ranging from a Small but Mighty presentation at 1 p.m. on July 4 to a Junior Ranger Cooking on the Trail program at 11 a.m. on July 5 and other history and music activities. The center will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1501 N. Poplar St. for all visitors.  Wyoming News Now

  • Analysts say the global oil market has stayed steady so far as supplies remain high despite rising conflict in the Middle East—if Iran shuts the Strait of Hormuz, oil prices could soon spike.
