- ➤ Yesterday, the Casper Mountain Lions Club celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Lee McCune Braille Trail at the Casper Mountain Trails Center — the first trail designed for visually impaired hikers in Wyoming — as community members shared memories of its impact. Built in 1975, the trail spans roughly two-thirds of a mile on Casper Mountain and continues to receive updates with new bridges installed in 2024 and planned boardwalk repairs to keep it accessible.
