Riverfest returns August 9th in Casper where local breweries, food trucks, live music, and the Great Duck Derby with cash prizes will draw the community.

Riverfest will take place tomorrow from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Casper and features local breweries, food trucks, live music from Auburn Green and Pathfinder, and the Great Duck Derby where ducks hit the water at 3:30 p.m. and a drawing at 5:00 p.m. will award cash prizes while proceeds help rehabilitate Crossroads Adventure Park.

A 45-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash near Casper on August 4th at 2:18 p.m.—the Harley-Davidson struck a Toyota as it overtook vehicles while he was not wearing a helmet and speed with inattention were noted as possible factors.

Today, Casper Fire-EMS increased its minimum daily staffing by two personnel so that Station 3’s ladder truck will operate with a full crew for the first time since 1975.
