Natrona County’s County Clerk’s Office reported that several couples applied for marriage licenses from August 6 through 12 — the official log includes names like Gaige Aidyn Rodgers and others — though it may not list every upcoming marriage.

At a Thursday meeting in Casper, lawmakers discussed changes to the Public Records Act including proposals to cover elected officials' associations—an effort aimed at boosting government openness by tightening deadlines and fees.

The committee did not pass new bills and will work on these ideas in a future meeting.

Between Aug.8 and Aug.14, the Casper-Natrona County Health Department inspected food establishments such as restaurants, grocery stores, mobile food units and commissaries to check for violations and guide immediate fixes or corrections within 10 days — reinspection was required for more serious issues.
