- ➤ Green Acres Corn Maze in Casper will open on September 20 on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and will feature a dragon, knight and castle design — with paintball, a petting farm and pumpkin sales until November 2. K2 Radio

- ➤ Farnham’s Furniture Galleries in Casper is closing after more than 30 years of business and began its clearance sale because sales slowed as more people shopped online—its 50,000-square-foot showroom featured high-end and Amish designs. The store will remain open for a few more months based on sales, and eight employees will lose their jobs. Oil City News

- ➤ Natrona County lost its title as Wyoming’s cheapest gas spot after prices jumped 13 cents to $2.80 per gallon on Monday—Laramie County now holds the lowest average at $2.67 per gallon, according to AAA. Oil City News
- ➤ A new analysis by Upgraded Points shows that Wyoming is the most affordable state for recent college grads — they earn about $15,000 more than needed to cover living costs, based on data comparing median earnings with living expenses.
