CRIME NEWS

  • A 21-year-old Mills woman allegedly led a high-speed chase in a borrowed Subaru on Saturday, Aug. 23, striking a pickup in central Casper — she faces charges of reckless endangerment, reckless driving and felony eluding as a judge set her bond at $20,000 cash-only.  Oil City News
  • A 50-year-old former nursing home worker appeared in Casper Circuit Court on Wednesday facing charges of abuse and false imprisonment after a police investigation began on July 14 at a local facility—she was released on a personal recognizance bond and is accused of tying a patient’s head to a bed with a scarf.  Cowboy State Daily

  • Six outstanding youth from the Boys and Girls Club of Central Wyoming have been named finalists for the 2025 Youth of the Year award and will compete on September 9-10, with the winner announced on September 17 at the Awards and Recognition Breakfast- the recipient will receive a $7,500 scholarship.  The Cowboy
