- ➤ Casper College is asking local residents to submit proposals for noncredit classes for spring 2026—offering courses on topics from local history to health and fitness with proposals due by Sunday, Sept. 14. - ➤ Josue Rodriguez Perez, a Cuban immigrant with a past felony conviction, was held in Casper's detention center for 40 days as ICE repeatedly moved him without a clear deportation plan—he expressed deep distress over his ongoing confinement and uncertain future.
