  • Tina Hoebelheinrich discussed Casper’s civic engagement in a recent podcast where she detailed a lively middle school civics bee and previewed an upcoming Chamber luncheon that will feature local leaders—Glenn Januska and Chris Barch.   • A water service line break has left the Casper Recreation Center without water—repair work is underway and should finish by 5 p.m. today while the aquatic center and ice arena continue to operate with separate water lines.  Oil City News
  • Lawmakers and state parks officials are reviewing a draft bill that would let the Division of State Parks charge mountain bikers a fee to use park trails—fees range from $5 to $20 and the funds will go to improving non-motorized trails in popular parks like Curt Gowdy and Glendo. If fully implemented, the system could bring in about $110,000 a year to help fund trail construction, maintenance, and related projects.  Oil City News
