- ➤ Governor Gordon supported the DOI decision to modify the Black Butte Mine plan so that an extra 9.2 million tons of federally owned coal can be mined and operations resume through 2039—he also welcomed the move to rescind the Biden Public Lands Rule after his earlier legal challenges.
