- ➤ Families gathered at David Street Station today for the allthingsfall festival—children enjoyed train rides, face painting, and bouncy houses as local vendors offered fall treats. The event ran from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and filled Casper with a festive mood highlighted by pumpkins and music. Jack FM
- ➤ Dress for Success Casper, a local group that provides free professional clothing for job interviews, will host its first Little Black Dress fundraising event on Oct. 2—gathering support for the program. Casper Star-Tribune
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Nuclear energy officials and two state governors met Monday at Idaho National Laboratory to discuss a plan to boost nuclear power in the West — the plan includes building microreactors and power plants in Wyoming — and to attract investments for future energy needs. Casper Star-Tribune
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is asking elk hunters in targeted northeast Wyoming hunt areas to take blood samples at harvest to help test for brucellosis. Sample kits will be mailed about two weeks before each hunt opens+ hunters should follow instructions to keep the sample cool and wear gloves. Oil City News
