  • The Natrona County Trailbusters 4-H club presents the 6th Annual Haunted Barn from October 24—26 and October 31—November 2 featuring the Platte River Ghost Ship, free refreshments by the fire pits and safe trick-or-treating for younger children. Visitors pay $5 on opening night with a canned food donation or $10 on other nights while supporting 4-H projects.  The Cowboy

  • The 2025 Casper Start-Up Challenge Bootcamp will offer a day-long event where local entrepreneurs learn business basics—sessions cover branding, business law, and financing with expert guidance. CULTURE NEWS

  • Casper residents can look forward to the Annual Haunted Barn, which will run from October 24 to 26 and October 31 to November 2 and is hosted by the Natrona County Trailbusters 4-H club. The event will feature the Platte River Ghost Ship ride, free cookies and beverages including Pepsi, hot cocoa or apple cider on opening night when visitors bring a canned food donation, and a petting zoo and face painting on Halloween for younger children to help fund local 4-H projects.  Jack FM
  • The Nicolaysen Art Museum will host a free reception tomorrow for the Wyoming Wind exhibition with a discussion by curator Ginger Shulick Porcella at 6:30 p.m.—the exhibit, which has been on view since Oct. 3, will run until Dec. 19 as part of the Wyoming Arts Council’s Biennial Fellowship Exhibition.  The Cowboy
  • Casper music fans posted over 380 comments on the Ford Wyoming Center Facebook page last Wednesday to share their favorite artists for future concerts, and the venue said its booking team will share these ideas at a conference next week—showing it listens closely to local input. ECONOMY NEWS

  • The Casper-Natrona County International Airport said it had the most September passengers in over 40 years with 8,978 enplanements—its busiest month since 1983—and it expects more competitive flight prices as local travel increases.  Wyoming News Now

  • The Casper City Council will consider adding an electronic lockbox system — a secure method for paying utility bills — at its Tuesday meeting at 6 p.m. and will review several contracts including one for repair work at the Fort Caspar Museum.  Oil City News
  • Casper Area Transit will offer limited ASSIST door-to-door rides for scheduled medical appointments and ADA Complementary Paratransit on Columbus Day, October 13—services will run from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.—while LINK bus rides and ticket purchases will be unavailable until regular service resumes on October 14 at 6:30 a.m.  Wyoming News Now
