- ➤ Casper police posted a reminder that pedestrians must use designated crosswalks and wear reflective clothing while drivers slow down and yield to walkers—state laws allow citations for unsafe practices and help prevent accidents. The Cowboy
- ➤ Casper Police Department, Natrona County Sheriff's Office, Wyoming Highway Patrol, Evansville and Mills Police Departments are hosting the 2025 Shop With a Cop event at Walmart locations in Casper on December 6 and 7—families with children aged 3 to 12 can apply by October 15 and will be notified on October 27 if selected. ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Today, a deal was signed for a new data center project in Casper that will start with a $500 million investment for 200 megawatts and has the potential to expand to 1.5 gigawatts—boosting local economic prospects in Natrona and Converse counties. The project will run on its own natural gas-powered system and use carbon capture technology to stay off the local grid. Cowboy State Daily
