- ➤ The Casper Area Chamber of Commerce announced the 2025 Downtown Casper Christmas Parade theme—Unmask the Magic: A Superhero Christmas—to honor everyday heroes and comic book favorites. The parade will take place in downtown Casper on December 6 at 6 p.m., and float registration is open until November 28. Oil City News
- ➤ Localicious will be held on October 24th at the Tate Pumphouse in Casper — doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the event begins at 6:00 p.m. — and will feature a locally sourced menu by Heirloom and Native, live music by The Struggle Strut, and a silent auction supporting the Weekend Food Bag Program that feeds over 800 children. - ➤ The 2025 Casper Christmas Parade will Unmask the Magic on December 6th at 6PM after the ceremonial tree lighting at David Street Station downtown. Dance Evolution, which won the grand prize in 2024, will carry Mr. and Mrs. Claus to honor heroes in all forms—first responders, family, and comic legends. K2 Radio

- ➤ Natrona County’s average gas price dropped 10 cents today — it is now $2.57 per gallon — making it the lowest fuel price in Wyoming for nine weeks. Exxon at 400 Valley Drive offers gas at $2.38 per gallon and Loaf ‘N Jug at 1900 E. 2nd St offers it at $2.47 per gallon. Oil City News
- ➤ Gas prices in Wyoming dropped nearly 10 cents per gallon over the last week, so the average stands at $2.90 today according to GasBuddy’s survey of 494 stations. Prices are about 20 cents lower than last month and 24 cents lower than last year — experts say the trend may continue in the coming months. K2 Radio

- ➤ The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming runs a Career Works program that helps teens learn job skills with local businesses — such as Atlas Energy and Kitchen Connections — by doing hands-on projects. Many teens report feeling more ready for new tasks after sessions, and they have seen a 44 percent boost in their industry knowledge. Oil City News
- ➤ Riverton farmer Lindsey Anderson delivered 1,000 ears of corn to Fort Washakie School in early September—students and teachers processed it quickly for a Farm to School Day lunch on Oct. 13 that featured local beef, corn on the cob and lettuce grown on campus. The event supported Wyoming’s Farm to School program—which will hold its inaugural conference in Casper on Oct. 28-29. Oil City News
