- ➤ The Double Dubs War Wagon will roll into Casper this week to serve award-winning wings and host a beer chugging contest with pro eater George Chiger. The contest will run at Blacktooth on November 12 from 4:00 p.m. — 8:00 p.m. and at Stahoo’s Brewery and Taproom on November 13 from 11:00 a.m. — 7:00 p.m. K2 Radio
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Gas prices in Wyoming rose by 8.3 cents to average $2.93 a gallon today—GasBuddy’s survey of 494 stations shows prices remain lower than last month's and last year's averages. The lowest price was $2.36 a gallon amid refinery issues and dropping inventories that have temporarily supported the market. The Cowboy
- ➤ Natrona County’s average gas price fell 6 cents to $2.48 in the past week while the national average increased to $3.03, according to GasBuddy data. The report noted that on Monday the cheapest fuel was $2.35 at Exxon at 400 Valley Drive—making it Wyoming’s lowest for the third consecutive month. Oil City News
- ➤ Gas prices in Wyoming increased by 8.3 cents this week, averaging $2.93 per gallon today — refinery issues and lower inventories pushed prices up even though they remain 3.7 cents below last month and 13.2 cents lower than last year, with the cheapest station selling at $2.36 per gallon. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Natrona County School District is planning to close Woods Learning Center and Bar Nunn Elementary School at the end of this school year if the Board of Trustees approves the recommendation. District officials said the planned closures are driven by declining enrollment and budget challenges and will save nearly $1.8 million a year while affecting students in the 2026—2027 school year.
