- ➤ Yesterday, nearly 55,000 customers in central Wyoming lost power when an issue at a transmission facility caused outages that spread into South Dakota—utility crews restored power to about half the affected residents by midafternoon while investigations continued into the cause. - ➤ Casper officials said on Thursday that over 3,000 residents lost power amid widespread outages and advised oxygen-dependent persons to visit designated facilities; the west side facility is at Natrona County High School MAC Facility (930 S.
