  • Wyoming-born Taco John's will work with a New York data firm to know its customers better and attract younger buyers from Taco Bell. The chain will open a new restaurant on F Street in Casper in spring 2026 — a move that mixes old know-how with new ideas.  Cowboy State Daily

ECONOMY NEWS

  • Columnist Gail Symons argues that Wyoming must move from an extraction-only model to a modern energy economy if it hopes to keep high-wage projects local, following last week's forum in Laramie where Gov. Mark Gordon and Gov. Spencer Cox observed that Wyoming produces far more energy than it consumes (citing natural gas, uranium, coal, wind, solar, and geothermal options) and warned that without clear state policies (with reliable permitting and local safeguards) the state risks falling behind faster-moving regions.  Cowboy State Daily

  • Natrona County Clerk’s Office reported that several couples applied for marriage licenses between Nov. 12th and Nov. 18th—such as Joshua Eric Frimml and Kaydence Renay Roberts—with the filing log not representing every upcoming marriage in the county.  Oil City News

HEALTH NEWS

  • Casper Natrona County Health Department met Thursday to discuss plans for its new building coming in nearly $2.5 million under budget + Narcan trainings. Officials said the meeting focused on cost savings + better local health services.  Casper Star-Tribune
  • Between November 14th and 20th, the Casper-Natrona County Health Department inspected restaurants, schools, and other food outlets in the area. They found various violations—ranging from improper handwashing and sanitizing practices to equipment issues—with some facilities required to fix problems within 10 days.  Oil City News
  • Over 106,000 Wyoming adults care for aging parents while holding full-time jobs and raising children—adding pressure to their health and finances as demands increase with more older adults.
