- ➤ On Dec. 6, the Chamber hosted its Downtown Christmas Parade to launch the holiday season. - ➤ Wyoming Rescue Mission will host its 13th annual Fishin for the Mission fly fishing tournament on June 4, offering a guided boat for two on the North Platte River—early bird registration ends on Dec. 31 to support shelter, meals, and recovery programs. Jack FM

- ➤ Casper College launched the second year of its SparkTank program today to connect students with local nonprofits that address community needs in Natrona County. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Casper is under a High Wind Warning today with winds expected to gust up to 55 mph, causing dangerous travel conditions on key roads and dry conditions with temperatures near 55°F until Thursday, Dec. 11 at 5:00 a.m. K2 Radio
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ State Secretary of State Chuck Gray hailed a recent court ruling that blocked a wind-energy lease on state trust land in Converse County as a win for landowners & proper oversight. The case will continue in court and may spark debate over land use and renewable development in coming months. 104.7 KISS FM
- ➤ The Casper City Council will soon vote on allocating opioid settlement funds to expand local addiction and recovery services (supporting programs for women, detox services, and prevention campaigns). This decision follows recommendations from city staff and program partners. Oil City News

- ➤ The Wyoming High School Wrestling season begins tomorrow after teams practiced since Nov. 24, with Star Valley girls and Thunder Basin boys among the defending champs.
