About this event
Join us for Tween Book Club on Monday, November 30 at 4 PM in the Crawford Room, where we'll discuss "Escape From Mr. Lemoncello's Library" by Chris Grabenstein, a fast-paced and humorous adventure novel. In "Escape From Mr. Lemoncello's Library," Kyle, a massive fan of games of all kinds, wins an invitation to an overnight stay in the brand new Library. But this library is special; it was made by Kyle's hero (and master game designer) Luigi Lemoncello, and it has way more than just books. Inside the Library, you'll find a theater, an electronic learning center, hologram displays, interactive dioramas, and more! After a fun-filled night at the library, Kyle and the others get ready to leave. But the lock-in doesn't end on time. Instead, they find a number of book-related clues to help them escape. Can you help them solve the clues? Tween Book Club is a welcoming space for students in grades 4-6 to share their thoughts, ask questions, and connect with other readers in a relaxed and encouraging environment. Whether you're reading to see if Leo can make his dreams a reality, diving headfirst into the strange world of the soccer camp, or just tagging along to see how Leo grows from the experience, your perspective matters. Pick up a free copy of the book at the Children's Desk while supplies last. Call 577.7323 for more information.
